When I first took on the role of UX/UI designer for the client, I realised the current dashboard has many functions and modules for internal employees to store and create service requests upon. With the high number of modules and functions, we realised that some users faced confusion and uncertainty during some completion of tasks.
In addition, for this role, I strategised as both UX/UI designer and Business Analyst for the dashboard.
Quantitative Research
Taking a look at data to understand further about internal users’ pain points from teams such as Storage, Infrastructure and Backup.
Goals:
Simplify process for internal users and ensuring good user experience focusing on accuracy of data and clarity of tasks
Increase adoption rates from internal users so that Beyond’s data is of high accuracy for usage
Persona
We focused on three types of personas which are: EMS, Team Lead (including HOD) and Members (Primary & Secondary Contacts). By having them, it helps in identifying the different goals for this module to create a better user experience.

We wanted to add in new features, automate and streamline processes for escalation contact portal. Here are some of the new features:
